Carolyn B. Becker, M.A., M.D.
Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine

Research Summary
After completing her endocrinology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1988, Dr. Becker entered a general endocrinology practice in Danbury, Connecticut where she was involved in the teaching programs at Danbury Hospital and Yale New Haven Hospital. In 1994, she joined a large multi-specialty private practice in Northern Westchester County where she served as the group’s only endocrinologist for nearly seven years. Currently, she is the Associate Director of the Toni Stabile Osteoporosis Center. Her major interests are to see patients with osteoporosis and other metabolic bone disorders and to develop new programs to help prevent initial or recurrent osteoporotic fractures. She also hopes to take an active role in the teaching of medical students, residents, and endocrine fellows at Columbia University.
